Frequently asked questions

What we are asked most often.

A question that is not here? Write to us: the answer will join this page.

Can we programme our own recipes?
Yes. The stored library is the starting point; your recipes are set with your head chef during commissioning — portions, times, temperatures — then reproduced identically.
Does the kitchen need rebuilding?
Not necessarily. The robots need a suitable power supply: 220 V and 5 kW for the TC-E20A, 380 V and 12 kW for the TC-E40A. We check these constraints during the visit, before any quote.
Who cleans and who maintains the machine?
Technical maintenance and updates are included in the monthly rate. Day-to-day cleaning stays with your team, as with any line equipment.
Does the machine replace a cook?
It replaces the repetition, not the craft. The cook keeps control of the menu, portions and cooking; the machine repeats them without drifting.
And what if our kitchen isn't suited to it?
We'll tell you. A machine that doesn't run enough costs more than a well-organised crew. The visit is there as much to rule out the bad cases as to confirm the good ones.
How does a pilot project work?
We come to your kitchen with the machine and your recipes, during your own service hours. You judge what's on the plate.
What is the monthly cost?
It depends on the configuration and the term. We provide a quote after the visit — never before, because a figure given blind is of no use to you.
